We stand behind our work. Every repair at C.A.R.S. Automotive is guaranteed in writing — a minimum of 6 months on labor, new parts covered from 1 year up to a limited lifetime depending on the part, and 12 months or 12,000 miles on major repairs. We install quality parts, tell you exactly what’s covered before any work begins, and accept most extended warranties too.
What’s covered — and what isn’t
Covered
- Labor on the repair we performed — minimum 6 months
- New parts we install — 1 year up to limited lifetime
- Major repairs — 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first
- Defects in our workmanship on covered jobs
Not covered
- Normal wear & routine maintenance items (filters, fluids, brake pads, etc.)
- Damage from accidents, abuse, neglect or lack of maintenance
- Used or salvage-yard parts — no labor warranty (30-day part warranty via the supplier)
- Parts you supply yourself — no warranty on the part or the labor
- Pre-existing or unrelated problems, and work performed elsewhere
- Parts or repairs declined or marked “as-is” (we’ll always tell you)

Your repair invoice is your proof of service and warranty start date. Hold on to it for the full coverage period.

The specific repair we performed — both the parts we installed and the labor to install them — against failure under normal use. Labor is covered for at least 6 months, new parts from 1 year up to limited lifetime, and major repairs for 12 months or 12,000 miles. Routine maintenance and normal wear items aren’t included.

Used or salvage-yard parts carry the supplier’s warranty (often 30 days) with no labor warranty from us. If you supply your own parts, we’re not able to warranty the part or the labor.
Yes — keep your repair invoice. It’s your proof of the work performed and the warranty start date.
Yes. We work on all makes and models — foreign and domestic, car or truck, gas or diesel — and our warranty applies to qualifying repairs across the board.
